It seems my most popular creation is the note cards that I
started doing in the very beginning of my watercolor journey. I
used a lot of rubber cement (which may explain a lot!), colored
copies and Exacto-blades early on to craft each card by hand.
Nowadays, thanks to computers and home color printers it
requires less labor as the one-by-one has become the
batch-by-batch production line. But I really enjoy it, and find
the whole process to be very rewarding.
Note cards are something accessible and affordable to a wide
audience. And in this age of electronic mail it is nice to know
that someone might still take the time to write down a message
and mail it the "old-fashioned" way. I have a hunch, however,
that a lot of my note cards have been framed rather than mailed
off, or perhaps they hang or dangle, dog-eared, from bulletin
boards and refrigerators around the world. I find that
flattering really.
On these pages you can view my most popular paintings. Please
browse, pick-and-choose, and
purchase your very own note cards
and/or fine art prints as described below. They also make
wonderful gifts for all occasions. And Bill Abel-commissioned
projects for wedding and baby announcements (hopefully in that
order!) are possible as well.
Rest assured that the printing is of the finest quality
possible at this price range. Archival inks are sprayed via the
high-end modern-day inkjet printer. Note cards are printed on
recycled papers-both handsome yet elegant, while the fine art
prints are printed on the finest (and artiest!) archival photo
papers available.
Price includes shipping and handling within the "good-ol’
USA".
